#Create and manage projects
A project is the top level of the hierarchy, with a name, a short description, an icon and an owner, and its page shows everything inside it at a glance.
#Create a project
You can create a project in two places:
- Projects in the sidebar → Create project;
- the dashboard → Create new → Project.
Give it a Project name, optionally a Short description, and pick an icon and a colour. You become the project's owner.

#Find a project in the list
Projects lists every project, with its owner and how many processes it holds, how many of them are deployed, in draft, or failing validation.
- All and Mine switch between every project and the ones you own.
- Search projects … filters by the project's name.
- The two buttons beside the search switch between a table and cards.
#Read a project page
A project page opens with four figures about the processes inside it:
| Figure | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Processes | Every process and agent in the project |
| Deployments | Processes that have a production deployment |
| Drafts | All the others — including processes deployed only to development |
| Failed | Processes whose validation currently fails |
⚠️ Failed is about the model, not about runs. A process whose runs fail but whose diagram is valid is not counted here. Failed runs are in Monitoring.
Below the figures, Tree shows areas, groups and processes nested, and Table lists the processes flat. How to build that structure is on Process areas and groups.
#Change a project
Edit on the project page changes its name, description, icon and colour.
The owner is shown next to it but cannot be changed here: it stays the person who created the project.
#Delete a project
The red delete button on the project page deletes the project with every area, group and process in it. The confirmation says so, and there is no way back: the processes can no longer be opened, restored or started.
⚠️ Deleting does not undeploy. A deployed process that is deleted this way is not cleanly withdrawn — a webhook it registered may stay registered with the external system. The confirmation for a project does not mention this; only the one for a single process does. Undeploy the processes first. See Deploying a process.
